Hyperlocal Coming To The Square Mile

Uretopia today added a new premium geo-domain to its portfolio with the acquisition of TheCity.co.uk. The square mile is a fascinating part of London and this project will be our next hyperlocal online publication. Our aim will be to deliver a useful local resource for the people that live in the City, and the people that work there.

Uretopia Continues Move Into Hyperlocal

Uretopia is continuing to assert itself in the emerging hyperlocal space. Our appointment of the British Press Association's Journalist Of The Year as weekly columnist at Greenwich.co.uk has certainly got the attention of many, and was recently reported on by Roy Greenslade and even made the front page of the Media Guardian. Such a high profile hire certainly highlights the scale of our ambition in this area.

Today we follow that up with the acquisition of hyperlocal.co.uk which will in due course become the parent brand for our portfolio of local news and information websites.

Google Android is the exciting new open source operating system especially for mobile devices. As well as a very cool platform from Google, it also promises a vibrant developer community with innovatice apps being made available through the Android Market.
